About

PixelFlipbook is a free pixel-art animation editor that works with a finger as well as a mouse.

It is made by Adib Khan, an independent software developer. I have spent more than a decade building software for a living, and I make PixelFlipbook on my own, as a small product with a clear job: draw a few frames, see them move, and get them out as a GIF or a spritesheet.

It exists because most browser pixel-art tools assume a mouse. A phone or tablet is the screen many people actually have with them, and a fingertip covers a whole 16 pixel sprite. So the touch model, the precision cursor and the always-visible save state came first, and everything else was built on top of them.

What it costs

The editor, the import, the sheet and GIF exports and sharing are free. That includes the Godot bundle. There is nothing to buy and no account. There are no ads, and I do not sell or share your data. The privacy page explains in plain words what is stored and where.

Built to last

Links on this site do not change. There are no accounts to lose, and your projects can always be exported as files you keep. Guides are written by hand, and I update them when the editor changes.
